According to the information received by BELPOL, Lukashenko's "police" reacted in a very peculiar way to the March 22, 2024 terrorist attack in the entertainment complex "Crocus City Hall" near Moscow, which had nothing to do with Belarus.
The very next day the so-called "Minister of Internal Affairs" I. Kubrakov "issued" an order "On additional measures to increase security in places of mass stay of citizens"by which he ordered his subordinates to conduct "complex of operational and preventive measures".
And the "non-siloviks" zealously set out to carry out the order - mass mailing of instructions to various organizations on the need to:
- conducting briefings in teams on emergency prevention, with the participation of "representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations";
- concluding contracts with units of the so-called "Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" for physical protection of facilities;
- equipping building entrances with metal detectors;
- systematic informing of the population via loudspeaker about the rules of safe behavior at the facilities and actions in case of emergencies.
The regime officials motivate their actions by the fact that in supposedly "stable" Belarus "there are threats of committing unlawful acts in places of mass stay of citizens - at concerts and sports venues, shopping centers, markets, catering facilities, and educational institutions, which requires additional preventive measures."
However, according to our sources, In fact, the dictator's oprichniki are not guided by concern for the safety of citizens, but are trying to "insure" themselves in case of any incidents. (like we gave everyone advance notice.), as well as to create mass psychosis on the background of Russian events and earn on it both image-wise, by having the image of a "protector", and financially, by increasing the revenue of the so-called "Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs".
BELPOL continues to monitor the situation.
Zhyve Belarus!
