The organizers were the Center for Finance and security (CFS) of the Royal United Institute for Defence Studies (RUSI) in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) and the Stockholm Center for East European Studies (SCEEUS).
At the round table dedicated to the topical problems of Belarus, the experts discussed the following issues effectiveness of international sanctions against the Lukashenko regime and possible ways to enhance them, as well as ways to minimize side effects.

The briefing discussed key issues related to the current situation in Belarus, including:

🔹 the possibility of increased sanctions pressure;
🔹 the role of Lukashenko's regime in military actions against Ukraine.
In addition to corroborating facts, additional confidential data was presented to confirm the threats posed by the Lukashenko regime.
The forthcoming sanctions against the Belarusian regime were discussed separatelyas well as the preparation of the 15th sanctions package. The briefing participants reached agreements in principle on further cooperation, the results of which will be seen shortly.
