BELPOL Statement
regarding Lukashenko's threats to Ukraine
In connection with dictator Lukashenko's recent claims against Ukraine (allegedly Ukrainian combat drones fly into Belarusian territory, etc.), BELPOL believes it is necessary to state the following.
It must be clearly understood, when someone commits a crimeand especially with grave consequences. he is no longer in full control of his own destiny.. His life can drastically change for the worse at the most unexpected moment. And this rule applies both to "ordinary" people and to of the usurpers who have seized powerwho believe in their own exceptionalism and impunity.
The Minsk regime, represented by Lukashenko himself, as well as his inner circle, "military leaders" and "ordinary executors", since February 2022 and up to the present time has been actively complicit in the Russian aggression in Ukraine, which, according to the Criminal Codes of Belarus and Russia, as well as international legislation, is classified as crime against peace and security of mankind.
Dragging Belarus into the war against Ukraine is undoubtedly the main mistake of the "self-appointed" and the most gruesome of his crimes. for all the years of illegal rule. According to the data of sociological surveys, at present about 60% Ukrainians consider Belarusians as enemies, though only 3 years ago such a thing seemed impossible. Many Belarusians do not understand (or don't want to understand) How Belarus participates in this war, claiming: "there are no our troops in Ukraine", "we are world people" and the like.
Explanation:
- it was from Belarusan territory, with Lukashenko's authorization, that the Russian military group of the "main direction" invaded Ukraine in an attempt to seize Kiev;
- Hundreds, if not thousands, of missile and bomb strikes have been launched from the territory and airspace of Belarus against our southern neighbor, and Russian drone attacks continue to this day;
- Belarusian servicemen repaired and serviced Russian military equipment involved in the aggression. This military equipment was and still is refueled with Belarusian fuel;
- On the territory of RB (which is allegedly not a party to the armed conflict), Ukrainian prisoners of war and captured civilians were illegally detained in violation of international conventions;
- Hundreds of thousands of artillery shells and other ammunition were shipped from Belarusian arsenals to Russian troops;
- Deliveries from Belarus to Russia of shells, missiles, combat drones, electronic warfare systems, sights for armored vehicles and small arms, as well as other military equipment not only continue but are currently increasing. Moreover, these products are produced and shipped to Russian aggressors not by Lukashenko and his "generals" personally, but by tens of thousands (if not more) "ordinary" and supposedly good-ordered Belarusians, who de facto became accomplices of the war.
As a result, the regime and its willing accomplices (No one is forced to produce weapons for Russia at gunpoint.) are helping to kill and maim Ukrainians on a daily basis, not only military personnel, but also women, the elderly and children. Thus, the crime has already been committed and continues, but punishment is sure to follow, the only question is the timing and severity of the consequences.
At the end of his rule, Lukashenko turned Belarus and "ordinary Belarusians" into a legitimate military target. Therefore, we should not be surprised when this goal (not only military units, but also factories, oil depots and other facilities) will be overwhelmed. That's where it's going. Ukraine already has every right to attack a coaggressor. And all sorts of complaints, excuses and claims in the style of Duremar from "The Golden Key" ("and I had nothing to do with it...") are completely inappropriate.
The only way to avoid the impending catastrophe is to disassociate ourselves from the regime, stop complicity in its crimes and restore the rule of law in our country.
In the first phase - to make sure that military products are not produced or sent to russia, and not to participate in military and informational provocations against Ukraine. Next step - to rid Belarus of Lukashism. Otherwise, "ordinary Belarusans" who earn blood money, their relatives and neighbors should get ready to become victims. Moreover, what is happening now in Kursk region is "soft option". And Ukrainian combat drones flying through Belarusian airspace (if they were there) are mere "flowers" compared to the coming consequences for participation in a fratricidal war.
BELPOL calls on Belarusians to come to their senses and make the only right choice! No to any complicity in the war!
The presidential election is coming up, we should not "put our hands down" in advance, we need to prepare. It is time to rid Belarus of its criminal dictatorship.
Live Belarus! Glory to Ukraine!
