BELPOL visited Brussels, where a closed briefing was held at the headquarters of the European External Action Service (EEAS) on the ongoing militarization of Belarus and the Lukashenko regime's involvement in arms production. for the Russian army.
During the meeting, BELPOL experts presented an analytical report detailing China's involvement in strengthening Belarus' defense industrial potential. The EEAS representatives had access to non-public supporting materials - the documentary base attached to the report. The presentation showed data on the supplies of Chinese equipment to Belarusian enterprises fulfilling the Russian defense order, key areas of militarization, as well as schemes for circumventing sanctions with the direct assistance of the Chinese side.
A separate block of discussion was the possible formats of cooperation between BELPOL and European structures in the context of the preparation of the 20th EU sanctions package. The organization outlined the range of threats emanating from the Minsk regime and proposed measures that could strengthen sanctions pressure and increase the effectiveness of monitoring Minsk's military cooperation with Moscow and Beijing.
