In a previous publication. we reported on the unfavorable situation at Minsk Automobile Plant OJSC, where the Lukashists even started hiring foreign guest workers. Today BELPOL will continue to reveal the secrets of MAZ.
There was a great response to the reports Russian and then Belarusian non-state mass media about spontaneous combustion of new MAZ buses in St. Petersburg, where they were delivered about 900 pieces. Burning directly on the routes of these buses began in late 2022, a process that continued into 2023, only on a larger scale. MAZ buses were even taken out of service for some timeand the St. Petersburg authorities announced their refusal of further purchases.
Lukashenko personally had to justify himselfwho publicly stated in the media that the problem is not at all in the quality of MAZ buses, and they allegedly do not burn in other Russian regions, only in St. Petersburg. And all because, "that some private company, people who have never seen buses, took over the service". These are the kind of wild people who "have never seen a bus," according to the dictator, inhabit Russia's "northern capital."
However, the wily usurper lied as usual. The new MAZs were burning not only in the "St. Petersburg."but also in Izhevsk, Saratov, as well as in Belarus itselfwith the engine compartment being the primary focus of the fire.
BELPOL it has been determined that on the mass spontaneous combustion of these buses at the personal behest of the "self-appointed" of entire A 6-month classified official investigation was conducted from ordinary citizens under the leadership of the so-called "Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus" P.A. Parkhomchik.
The "investigation" concluded that the main causes of the above spontaneous combustions are:
- forced modification as a result of international sanctions (including replacement of originally designed Mersedes engines with Chinese Weichai engines with a different exhaust manifold arrangement);
- poor installation of electrical equipment when assembling buses;
- low efficiency of the Epotos fire extinguishing system Russian-made buses, which were equipped upon customer's request.
In order to address the "shortcomings" MAZ specialists had to "finalize" about 700 buses by installing additional equipmentThe additional costs incurred by the enterprise are considerable, however, cases of spontaneous combustion of MAZ buses still take place in 2024. The additional costs incurred by the company are considerable, however, cases of spontaneous combustion of MAZ buses still take place in 2024. That's the Lukashists' "import substitution".
BELPOL continues to monitor the situation.
Long Live Belarus!
