The propaganda of the regime tries to create an impression that the punitive structures of the dictator have "sorted out" the donations of Belarusians, transferred to democratic structures and people who suffered from repressions. Allegedly, all the "guilty" have been identified, hundreds of criminal cases have been initiated and all the money you've paid in has been recovered tenfold. However, BELPOL received completely different information from competent sources from Belarus.
According to the documents in our possession, according to the materials of the so-called "GUBOPiK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs". from 2020 to September 2023, only 16 criminal cases were initiated under article 361-2 of the Criminal Code "Financing extremist activities" (including 8 criminal cases in the current year). Moreover, these situations are mainly related to the transfer of money to the BYSOL and BY_help funds in the period when they were not yet recognized as "extremist" by the regime and Belarusians were not afraid to provide them with financial support.
The so-called "Department of Financial Investigations of the SCC" is particularly zealous in persecuting Belarusian solidarity, according to the materials of which about 100 criminal cases for "financing extremist and terrorist activities" were initiated in 2022 - 2023. However, many criminal cases are brought against "unidentified persons" based only on monitoring of bank transactionsThe most large donations, amounting to tens and hundreds of thousands of US dollars, were not recovered by the punishers. For this reason, the largest amounts of donations in the amount of tens and hundreds of thousands of U.S. dollars were not recovered by the punishers.
Therefore, call not to believe the Lukashists that they "know everything about everyone, will find and get to everyone". There is no need to give in to their provocations, blackmail and extortion, to voluntarily confess to donations to the demsilas and to transfer hard-earned money to the regime's accounts "in compensation for damages". The precautions that citizens take generally work and the bulk of the above criminal cases are grouse. At the same time, however, you should not relax, in case of financial support of repressed Belarusians and the democratic community, it is obligatory to ensure one's anonymity.
