Besides, "LAT" Ltd. supplies sets of parts for sights for military armored vehicles not only to Belarusian enterprises, but also directly to the manufacturer of tanks. to the Russian URALVAGONZAVOD.
BELPOL documented that only on some transactions for the resale of sets of parts of the panoramic commander's sight of the T-72 tank, Chivel Y.A.'s firm made a profit of over 100 thousand US dollars. At the same time, the "work" of LAT LLC, as a laying firm, consisted only in the execution of two commercial proposals, two paper contracts and two invoices.
In addition, LAT is involved in supplying absolute optical encoders for all the same commander's panoramic sights. Chivel sold them to Peleng at a price that sixfold exceeds the manufacturer's price. Documentary evidence and transaction charts are provided in our investigation.
Thanks to the activities of Chivel Yu.A., the Russian Federation will soon send 600 tanks to the war in Ukraine with sights produced in JSC Peleng.
But that's not what we wanted to talk about in this article.
After the release of our investigation, our organization started to receive messages describing its main actors. We received information from several addressees on Yuri Chivel as well.
Turns out, Chivel denies the right to exist of the people of Ukraine and an independent Ukrainian state. He believes that Ukraine should be "finished once and for all" and counts very much on Russia's victory in the so-called "SWO". According to Yury Chivel, Belarus should fight on the side of Russia.
The piquancy of the situation is that Yuri Chivel was born in Ukraine in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kiev region. According to information received by BELPOL, Yuri Chivel and his wife are currently undergoing medical treatment in France, where they are drawing up documents for the right to move freely within the EU.
Unfortunately, it is not always possible to quickly overcome the bureaucratic machine of the EU states. Sanctions work is a marathon. However, there is an opportunity to influence the behavior of old soviet marasmatics here and now in a different way.
We must show persons like JURY CHIVEL that EU territory is no place for them.
Therefore, BELPOL calls on Belarusian, Ukrainian and other democratic organizations, as well as representatives of diasporas, to start the procedure of expulsion of Yury Chivel from the territory of the EU with cancellation of visas and banning him from visiting civilized countries for the rest of his life.
