BELPOL confirms the fact of death Mikhail Grigorievich Zhuk, deputy chairman of the Mostovsky District Executive Committee, born on 21.05.1972, which took place in the evening. 12.07.2023.
According to the information we received, the corpse of Mr. Zhuk M.G. with a gunshot penetrating penetrating head wound was found in a shrubby area between Mira Avenue. and Station Street in Mosty, Grodno region.
A hunting smoothbore rifle IZh-43, which belonged to the deceased and from which the shot was fired, was found and seized at the scene. No traces and objects indicating the commission of a crime against Zhuk M.G. were found during the inspection of the scene. The main and most plausible version under consideration is the following suicide.
Due to the significant destruction of the head during the farewell ceremony, the corpse of M.G. Zhuk was kept in a closed coffin. The deceased was survived by his wife, a son born in 1996 and a daughter born in 2010.
